Nachos with Salsa and Cheese Dips
For the Salsa Sauce:
400g Canned Diced Tomato
1 large White Onion, finely chopped
3 – 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 pc. Jalapeno Peppers, sliced (optional)
2 pcs. Lime
2 tbsp. Sugar
500g Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Milk
2 tbsp. Butter
1 pc. Jalapeno Peppers (optional)
2 tsp. Cumin
2 tsp. Paprika
2 tsp. Onion Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 big pack of Nachos
- For the salsa sauce: In a sauce pan, combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, jalapeno, lime and sugar. Simmer until tomatoes are broken down into a thick sauce. Turn off heat then add in cilantro. Transfer in a jar and let it cool down completely.
- For the Cheese Dip: in a sauce pan, heat milk with butter then slowly add cheese while mixing. Once cheese has fully melted, add in jalapeno peppers, cumin, paprika onion powder then season with salt and pepper. Transfer in a jar and let it cool down completely.
- Transfer the nachos in a platter and serve with the cheese dips and salsa sauce. Enjoy!
