Description

Beef Tapa is a Filipino type of a cured meat, thinly sliced and marinated in soy sauce, garlic and seasoning. This is a popular breakfast that is usually served with a sunny-side up egg and fried rice also known as Tapsilog.


Ingredients

1 kg Sirloin Beef, sliced thinly in strips
1 cup Cola
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp. Liquid Seasoning
1 tsp. Ground Pepper
2 tbsp. Garlic, minced
Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl except for the oil. Make sure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Transfer in air-tight plastic container and leave in the fridge overnight to marinate.
  3. Heat up the oil in the frying pan, and fry the beef. Do not over cook it.
  4. Best serve with garlic fried rice, egg and tomato or atchara, perfect for breakfast!
