Beef Burger Patties

Ingredients:

1.5kg mince beef

1 big onion, finely chopped

1 tbsp. mixed Italian herbs

1 tbsp. Dry Thyme

1 tbsp. dried parsley (optional)

1 cup all purpose flour

1 egg

salt & pepper to taste

Procedure:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix it well by hand. Squeeze the meat while mixing until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Scoop the mixture about the size of a fist. Roll it in between your palms then flatten it. (Size & thickness depending on your preference.). Transfer it on a tray and continue until all the mixture is consumed. I made 25 patties from this recipe.
  1. There are 3 ways to cook the patties. By oven grill, frying or bbq. For oven grill, pre-heat oven to 175-180C on grill setting. Grill for it for 7-10 minutes on each side. For frying, pre-heat a pan with oil then fry for 7-10 minutes on each side. For bbq, cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  1. Best serve with lettuce, tomato and cucumber in a bun or on it’s own. Enjoy!
