1kg Beef pang Bulalo
2 Onions, chopped
3 inches Ginger, sliced in strips
1 tbsp. Whole Peppercorn
Salt or patis to taste
6 – 8 cups Water
2 Corn, cut into 2
2 bunches Petchay Baguio
100g Green Beans
1) Place the bulalo meat in a pan then add onion, ginger, peppercorn and water. Simmer for 1 hour or if using a pressure cooker, simmer till the pressure cooker whitstles. Then lower the heat to medium and continue simmering for 30 – 40 minutes.
2) Once the meat is tender, add corn and season with salt or patis adjust according to your taste. Continue to simmer for about 15 minutes till the corn is cooked.
3) Add the cabbage and green beans and simmer for 2 minutes. Lastly, add the petchay and cover the pan? Turn off the heat, best serve with patis and kalamansi.
