Ingredients:

1 kg. Bulalo meat, boiled

2 inches Ginger, sliced into strips

2 – 3 tbsp. Atchuete oil

5 – 6 cloves Garlic

1 Onion, chopped

2 Tomatoes, sliced

6 – 8 cups Beef Broth

2 pcs. Sili haba

4 pcs.Tanglad, lightly crushed

2 pcs. Big Onion leaks

10 -12 pcs . Batwan fruit or 1 packet Sinigang mix

Fish sauce to taste

Procedure:

1) Transfer the bulalo meat in a pan with water. Add batwan fruits. Simmer for-1 1/2 hoursor till thr bulalo meat is tender. Remove from the heat and set aside the eat from the broth.

2) Pre-heat pan with atchuete oil. Sauté ginger, onion, garlic and tomatoes.

3) Add beef meat and sautė for 3 – 5 minutes. Then add the bulalo broth, tanglad, siling haba, onion leaks, sinigang mix (if needed). Season with fish sauce to taste. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and ready to serve.
