Chicken Kilawin


1 whole Roast chicken, shredded

1-2 onion, sliced thinly

1 Sili pang sigang (optional)

1 Lemon, squeezed or 5-6 Calamansi

1/4-1/2 tsp. mince or grated Ginger

Chopped Spring onion for garneshing

Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Shred the roast chicken in small strips and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add all the ingredients in a bowl with chicken and mix it all well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Transfer in serving dish, garnish with spring onion and ready to serve. Enjoy!
  4. **you can serve with iceberg lettuce or tortilla wraps like Chicken wraps or as pulutan.
