Creamy Chicken Casserole
Aling Oday's quick and easy Creamy Chicken Casserole. It can be serve with mashed potato or garlic bread and use it as pasta sauce.
Servings: 10 people
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 medium onion dice
- 2 pcs chorizo cubes
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 2 pcs hotdogs or ham cubes
- 1/3 cup mushroom, slice
- 1 cup chicken broth
- salt and peper to taste
- 1 pc chicken cube
- 2 cups milk
- 3 cups shredded chicken
- 1 1/2 cups frozen vegetables
- chopped parsley
For the mashed Potato
- 4-5 big potato, boiled and mashed
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2-3 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Melt butter and sauté onion till soft. Add chopped chorizos, chicken cubes and flour. Cook it well.
- Add hotdogs, mushrooms, mixed vegetables, milk and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer till it starts to boil.
- Add shredded chicken and continue to simmer till the sauce thickens. Remove from the heat.
- For the mashed potato, add the butter and milk in mashed potato. Mix it well.
- Serve the chicken casserole with mashed potato on side or use it as a sauce for pasta. Enjoy!
