500g chicken thighs/portion
1 cup sliced frankfurters/hotdogs
1 cup pineapple slices with syrup
300ml single cream
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 chicken cube
Ginisa mix (optional)
1/2 cup water (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking oil for sautéing
- Sauté garlic and onion till the onion is soft. Add the chicken and continue to fry till the juice comes out from chicken.
- Add single cream, pineapple with syrup, ginisa mix, chicken cube and water (optional). Simmer for 15 minutes on a low heat.
- Add frankfurters/hotdogs and season with salt & pepper according to your taste. Continue to simmer for another 15 minutes till the chicken is tender and the sauce thickens.
- Best served with rice
