Brookies

Ingredients:

For the Brownies:

200g Milk Chocolate

100g Butter, softened

1 cup Sugar

2 Eggs

3/4 cup All Purpose Flour

100g Milk Choco chips

For the Cookies:

1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour

1/2 cup Sugar

1/4 cup Brown Sugar

1 Egg

200g Butter, softened

100g Dark Choco chips

Procedure:

1) Pre-heat oven to 175C/350F. Prepare square 10 x 10 brownie pan lined with parchment paper, brush butter or oil on sides.

2) For the cookies: Combine sugar, brown sugar and softened butter then cream using a hand mixer until smooth. Then add egg and mix it well. Add flour and choco chips and mix it well to form the cookie dough. Transfer into the prepared pan.

3) For the brownies: Melt the milk chocolate in a mixing bowl using a double boiler. Remove from the heat once the chocolate has melted. Add the butter in melted chocolate and mix it well. Add eggs and sugar and mix it well using a hand mixer. Lastly, add flour and half of choco chips. Mix it well until smooth and lump free.

4) Pour the brownie mixture on top of cookie mixture. Spread it evenly and sprinkle the other half of choco chips. Bake for 60 minutes. Best serve chilled. Enjoy!
