2.Set aside 1/4 portion of sliced strawberries for toppings. Then in the remaining strawberries, add 1 portion of 1/4 cup sugar. Let the strawberries absorb the sugar. Set aside for atleast an hour.
3.After an hour, slightly mash the prepared straberries. Set aside.
4.Whip the cream and add the 2nd portion of sugar. Continue to beat until it forms soft peaks. Fold in the prepared strawberries.
5.Crush the meringues and fold into the strawberry and cream mixture.
6.Spoon the Eton mess into individual dishes. Then top it up with the strawberry slices. Ready to serve.
