Ube Halaya


1 pack 16 oz frozen ube

1/2 can condensed milk

3/4 can evaporated milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 tsp. vanilla

1 pack soft cheese

ube flavouring (optional)


1. Melt the butter then add the ube. Continue to cook till the butter is absorbed.

2. Add all the remaining ingredients. Stir continuously in a low heat till all the liquid ingredients are absorbed.

3. Transfer to llanera or foil and let it cool down completely. Brush thetop with melted butter. Enjoy!
