Mini Embutido Burger
500g mince pork
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
1 big onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup chorizo, finely chopped
1/4 cup plain flour
1/4 cup grated cheese
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
2-3pcs. hotdog, finely chopped
1/4 cup raisin (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
1. In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients together by hand until all ingredients are well. Leave it for at least 30 minutes to infused the flavour.
2. Scoop 2 tbsp. (or more) of the mixture. Roll it in between your palm to form like a ball then flatten it lightly. Adjust size according to your desired preference. Continue the procedure until all mixture is consumed.
3. There are to options to cook the embutido patties, either you fry it or bake it. If you decide to bake it, pre-heat oven to 175C/350F. Place the embutido patties in a baking tray lined with foil. Bake it for 10 minutes on 1 side and another 10 minutes on the other side depending how big the patties and how well done you want it.
4. After cooking, place the mini burger in a dinner roll and serve with tomato sauce or mayonnaise and your desired veggies. Enjoy!
