1 kg. Pork shanks
8 pcs Bay leaves
100g Banana blossom
7-8 pcs. crushed Garlic
1 tsp. Whole pepper
1 1/2 cup Vinegar
1/2 cup Soy sauce
2-3 cups Water
2 tbsp. Brown sugar
Combine all the ingredients in a pan and simmer for over an hours or more till the pata is tender. Or using a pressure cooker for 30-45 minutes after the pressure cooker whistles. Enjoy!
