1kg pusit, sliced
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium size onion, sliced about a thumb size
ginger cut into strips
2-3 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 c water (optional)
oil for sautéing
1. Heat up a pan with oil. Sauté garlic, onion and ginger till soft & tender.
2. Add the pusit and sauté well. Cover the pan and simmer for 3 minutes.
3. Add pepper, bay leaves, soy sauce and mix it well. Add the vinegar last, do not stir it till it boils. You may add water if you want. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 10 min. Adjust the taste and season with salt when needed.
4. Continue to cook till you get your desired tenderness. Best serve with rice. Enjoy!
