Bangus Pizza

Ingredients:

1 big Boneless Bangus (daing cut)

4 tbsp. Tomato paste

1/4 tsp. Onion powder

1/4 tsp. Garlic powder

1 tsp. Dried Thyme or Italian Herbs

2 tbsp. Olive Oil

Salt to taste

1/2 Green Bell Pepper, slice in small strips

1/2 Red Bell Pepper, slice in small strips

1/2 – 3/4 cup Cheddar Cheese, grated

1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese, grated

Toppings of your choice like pepperoni, salami, bacon etc.

Oil for frying

Procedure:

1) Pre-heat oven to 175C/350F. Prepare tray lined with foil and brush oil on it. Then pre-heat oil in a pan and rub salt all over the bangus and fry it till lightly browned. Transfer on the prepared tray. Set aside.

2) In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the pizza sauce together except for the cheeses. Season with salt adjust according to your taste then mix it well.

3) Spread the pizza sauce over the fried bangus, spread it evenly. Sprinkle half portion of cheddar cheese. Add the pizza toppings of your choice. I used pepperoni, salami, and bell peppers? Lastly, add the grated cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese and drizzle a few drops of olive oil. You can cover it with foil before placing it in the oven but I prefer mine with crunchy toppings so I did not cover it with foil. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the bangus. Ready to serve after baking. Enjoy!
