2 cups thick coconut milk (kakang gata)
1 Onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 inch Ginger, finely chopped
5-6 Cloves Garlic, minced
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil for saueting
Spring onions for garnishing
Sili labuyo (optional)
Magic Sarap (optional)
1. Pre-heat pan with oil. Saute garlic, onion and ginger till tender.
2. Add the coconut milk and simmer till the sauce is just thick enough.
3. Add the alimasag (crab), season with salt, pepper, sili labuyo and magic sarap (optional) according to your taste. You can add 1/2 cup of water if you want more sauce. Cover the pan then simmer for 5 minutes on a low-medium heat.
4. After 5 minutes of simmering, add the spring onion and simmer for another 1-2 minutes or till the crab is cooked. (Depending on the size if the crab). Remove from the heat and ready to serve with rice. Enjoy!
