Tuna and Tofu Sisig

Tuna and Tofu Sisig. This is a healthier version of Sisig. Instead of using pork, I used tokwa (tofu) and tuna flakes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped Fried Tofu
  • 1 can Tuna Flakes in oil drained
  • 4 pcs. Siling Labuyo or Chili Flakes optional
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 pcs. Onion chopped
  • 3/4 - 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chopped Spring Onion
  • 2 - 3 tbsp. Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Lemon optional

Instructions

  • Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil in a heated pan. When onions are soft and tender, add the tuna and tofu sauté well.
  • Add all remaining ingredients and let it simmer at medium to high heat until liquid is absorbed. Stir from time to time to avoid scorching.
  • Season with salt, pepper and lemon according to your taste.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions for the colour. Best serve in a sizzling hot plate.
