Sipo Egg is a Chinese cuisine but the Filipino version this recipe originated in Pampanga and they added cream in this recipe. This dish has a rich thick creamy sauce with shrimp, quail eggs, and vegetables such as carrots, sweet corn and green peas.


2 dozens Quail Eggs, hard boiled
1 can Luncheon Meat
1 cup Mushroom Button
5 – 6 cloves Garlic
1 pc. Onion
100g Hipon
1 cup All Purpose Cream
1 pc. Carrot, cut into cubes
2 stalks Celery,
1 cup Green peas
1/2 cup Sweet Corn Kernel
3 tbsp. Butter
Salt and Pepper to taste
Cashew Nuts for toppings


  1. Melt the butter in a pan. Sauté onion till soft. Add garlic and continue to sauté till the aroma of garlic comes out.
  2. Add luncheon meat cubes, mushrooms and shrimps. Sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add all the vegetables, all purpose cream, boiled quail eggs and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and let it simmer for 2 – 3 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Transfer in a serving bowl. Garnish with cashew nuts in top before serving. Enjoy!
