Description
Beef Tapa is a Filipino type of a cured meat, thinly sliced and marinated in soy sauce, garlic and seasoning. This is a popular breakfast that is usually served with a sunny-side up egg and fried rice also known as Tapsilog.
Ingredients
1 kg Sirloin Beef, sliced thinly in strips
1 cup Cola
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp. Liquid Seasoning
1 tsp. Ground Pepper
2 tbsp. Garlic, minced
Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl except for the oil. Make sure all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Transfer in air-tight plastic container and leave in the fridge overnight to marinate.
- Heat up the oil in the frying pan, and fry the beef. Do not over cook it.
- Best serve with garlic fried rice, egg and tomato or atchara, perfect for breakfast!
