Tuna and Tofu Sisig


3 cups chopped tofu

1 can tuna flakes in oil, drained

4 siling labuyo

3 cloves of garlic, minced

2 onions, chopped

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup chopped spring onions

2-3 tablespoon olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

lemon (optional)


1. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil in a heated pan. When onions are soft and tender, add the tuna and tofu sauté well.

2. Add all remaining ingredients and let it simmer at medium to high heat until liquid is absorbed. Stir from time to time to avoid scorching.

3. Season with salt, pepper and lemon according to your taste.

4. Garnish with chopped spring onions for the colour. Best serve in a sizzling hot plate.
